Clynfyw Care Farm, Abercych, is hosting a coffee morning in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Campaign today, Friday, May 9.
The care farm holds a monthly coffee morning to raise funds for different charities. Last month they raised £175 for the Teifi Valley Branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Today’s coffee morning will also involve a sponsored car wash.
“Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the leading charity dedicated to finding treatments and cures and to improving the lives of the 70,000 people affected by muscular dystrophy in the UK,” said Clynfyw Development worker, John Fenna.
“We are really pleased to be able to support their work with this coffee morning and car wash.
“We are all looking forward to the event, especially the car washing, so do come along, support a good cause and get your car washed as you have a fine cuppa and a piece of cake.
“We are also washing cars in the morning of Saturday 10th, so you have two chances to come along and get involved.”
The coffee morning starts at 10.30 and everyone is welcome. For more information about Clynfyw, call 01239 841236
