THEATR Mwldan Film Society presents the critically acclaimed coming of age drama 'In Bloom' on Sunday, January 4.

Directors Simon Groß and Nana Ekvtimishvili have captured a fascinating snapshot of a country at war with itself as seen through the eyes of two teenage girls, Eka Khizanishvili and Natia Zaridze.

Described as a brilliant, smart and sensitive film with a feminist streak, the film is set in post-Soviet Georgia in 1992, when civil war is raging.

The girls try to find peace outside their family as days are filled with anxiety about what the future will hold for them.

The film starts at 5.50pm.
