SINGER songwriter Amy Wadge takes to the stage of the Torch Theatre on Friday, May 1, with touring partner Pete Riley.

Wadge is regarded as one of the country’s most successful female singer-songwriters.

Over the course of five solo albums, two collaborations, numerous compositions for other artists and hundreds of live performances all over the globe, she has established an outstanding body of work.

She has recently written songs with numerous upcoming songwriters, including chart-topper Ed Sheeran, who released an EP Songs I Wrote With Amy. Sheeran's smash single, Thinking Out Loud was co-written with Amy.

Pete Riley is a guitarist and singer who has performed throughout the world.

The pair first came together a little over two years ago to do some writing together.

They immediately clicked and after many years as solo artists or as members of various bands, they decided to collaborate and have been touring, writing and recording together ever since.

Together they penned an album’s worth of material and released Rivers Apart after a year of touring the UK together and they have now just finished a second album together called Afterglow.

The support act will be Lucy Jones.

Tickets are £14 (£12.50 concessions/£10.50 TLC, £8.50 U26s).
