Cardigan Secondary School presents an exciting and contemporary telling of Shakespeare’s most loved play Hamlet, from a script adapted for the Shakespeare for Schools Festival.
Prince Hamlet having been summoned home to Denmark from university in Germany to attend his father's funeral, is shocked to find his mother already remarried to his uncle the dead king's brother.
His uncle has had himself crowned King despite the fact that Hamlet was heir to the throne.
Hamlet suspects foul play.
Following their successful performance at the Shakespeare for Schools Festival at Theatr Mwldan in November, a cast from Cardigan Secondary School perform this abridged version of Hamlet in the Pavilion at Cardigan Castle on December 3 at 11am.
The performance lasts 30 minutes and entry is free
