CARDIGAN artist Debbie Dunbar and fellow Ceredigion Art Trail member and ceramic sculptor Valerie Price-West are once again hosting their annual exhibition in the Corn Exchange, Cardigan.

They will be exhibiting in the week running up to, and including, Barley Saturday, from April 23-29.

“Barley Saturday is a regular date in our art calendar which we always really look forward to,” said Debbie.

“We have been exhibiting together during this week for four years now and we like to think we are now an established part of the amazing experience that is Barley Saturday.”

Equestrian work features large but other themes are explored, including landscapes and other rural themes.

Last year a 'guest artist' wall was introduced with up-and-coming artists Jessica Leigh Owen (abstract) and Paula Topham Art. They will be exhibiting again this year along with Rebecca O'Dwyer, from Cardiff, and all have their own individual styles.

“I will be painting live in the gallery most of the week, and working on a large painting of a Welsh cob stallion on Sadwrn Barlys/Barley Saturday so please come in to have a look,” said Debbie.

The exhibition is open from 10am-5pm every day. All of the artists showing this week also undertake commissions.
