Andre Rieu’s Legendary Maastricht Concert returns for 2017.

Broadcasted live to The Torch Theatre Known to millions as ‘The King of Waltz’, André Rieu is one of the world’s most popular music artists. On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July, Andre Rieu’s Maastricht Concert 2017, the year’s most eagerly anticipated event, returns to The Torch Theatre as a live broadcast.

Breaking countless box office records, this year is no exception, as it marks the 30th Anniversary of the Johann Strauss Orchestra, formed by André Rieu in his home town of Maastricht. An incredible journey has seen a small group of musicians rehearsing in the classroom of André’s son’s primary school to performances in stadiums and concert halls around the globe.

Almost 3 hours of unforgettable music rife with humour, fun and emotion for all ages.

A 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, sopranos, tenors and a few surprise VIP guests, presented within the backdrop of the breathtakingly beautiful medieval town square all form together to create a simply incredible concert which will be remembered for years to come.

As an exclusive for cinema audiences, André will be providing unprecedented backstage access, interviews with his incredible guest list, musical favourites and much, much more.

Cinema Live’s Charlotte Hawkins will be on hand to present a Q&A interview with ‘The King of Waltz’ himself, the moment he steps off the stage, who will answer questions submitted by cinema audiences.
