GETTING into the festive groove are the lively ladies of one of Pembrokeshire’s newest vocal groups, Bella Voce.
The four-part choir - whose name means Beautiful Voice - is tuning up for a Christmas concert in the county on December 5.
Formed just a year ago by Pembrokeshire music teachers Sarah Benbow and Lisa Shelmerdine Richards, the group prides itself on both its eclectic
repertoire and its extensive wardrobe of shoes.
Singing music spanning time from the fourteenth century to Frozen, Bella Voce has up to 20 regular members, aged from 19 upwards, nearly half of whom
teach music locally.
The choir - which is accompanied by Seimon Morris - made its debut performance at Folly Farm earlier this year, and also supported West End
performer Peter Karrie at a concert in Pembroke Dock.
Bella Voce’s Christmas concert takes place at St Mary’s Church, Haverfordwest at 7.30pm on Friday December 5.
Entry is £5 on the door, to include mulled wine and mince pies, and the evening will also feature instrumental performances from choir members.
