KEEP Wales Tidy has joined forces with Manorbier Castle to host a one off charity concert.

On Thursday, December 11, candlelight will light up the beautiful chapel at Manorbier Castle as Haverfordwest Male Voice Choir sets the Christmas scene with some festive classics.

Throughout the year Keep Wales Tidy, one of Wales’ leading environmental charities, supports community groups to maintain and protect the Pembrokeshire coastline, by arranging beach cleans throughout Pembrokeshire and providing groups with safe equipment, protective clothing and insurance. In the past 6 months Keep Wales Tidy has worked with 17 groups and 354 individual volunteers to clear Pembrokeshire beaches of 399 bags of rubbish.

The Castle by Candlelight concert will raise funds to support the continuation of Keep Wales Tidy’s coastal work.

Emily Naper of Manorbier Castle said: "The coast is right at the heart of Manorbier’s community and as such, we feel it is important for us to work with Keep Wales Tidy, which supports community groups in Pembrokeshire to maintain and protect our beautiful coastline all year round".

Doors open at 7pm and the concert starts at 7.30pm.
