A ONE-OFF evening of operatic arias and duets by students of the Wales International Academy of Voice is on offer in Milford Haven.

The opera stars of tomorrow will be at the Torch Theatre on May 9.

Renowned Welsh tenor Dennis O’Neill established the academy with the aim of creating a centre of vocal excellence in his home country ‘the land of song’ and to encourage future stars.

Students are all in the early stages of their career and are selected and recruited globally.

The academy gives them the chance to develop and polish their talent to the highest professional standards in a specialised environment.

These students have come from New Zealand, Australia, Lithuania and the UK and have been taught by the very best coaches, language experts and vocal technicians.

They will be accompanied by head of music staff, Jane Samuel.

Tickets are £10 (£9 concessions, £8 TLC and £5 under 26s).
