Led by a musician from Haverfordwest one Britain's top chamber groups will be performing at Theatr Mwldan.

As former BBC New Generation Artists, the Galliard Ensemble has a wide repertoire ranging from Mozart and Beethoven to Berio and Schoenberg.

Currently in its twenty-second year, the ensemble has performed in many of the world’s leading venues and festivals, including the Wigmore Hall, South Bank Centre and at the BBC Proms.

Leading the ensemble is the flautist Kathryn Thomas who originates from Haverfordwest.

Together with the other players of the ensemble they gave a great performance at Theatr Mwldan over ten years ago which many will remember.

Their intriguing and wide ranging programme commences with Mozart’s wind quintet and also includes works by the Australian composer Percy Grainger and Jim Parker.

Promoted by The Peter Gould Music Trust, this concert takes place at Theatr Mwldan on Saturday, March 19 at 7.30pm.
