JON Boden is heading back to Cardigan after his sell-out concert at the Castle in 2015 as lead singer of Bellowhead.

Since leaving the band, Boden has been touring his solo album Painted Lady and he will be returning to the town to perform on May 15 at Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan.

While the number of people on stage may have decreased, the array of instruments certainly has not: fiddle, concertina, banjo, guitars, double bass, drums, Indian harmonium, glockenspiel, electric piano, Moog synthesiser and drum machine - all played by Boden himself.

Also previously a member of Eliza Carthy’s Ratcatchers, and one half of one of the folk clubs’ favourite duos with John Spiers, Boden has become the stand out performer of his generation of traditional folk artists, but one whose repertoire extends far beyond the boundaries of the genre.

Tickets are £20 and are available to book from Theatr Mwldan’s Box Office on 01239 621200, online or via smart phone at www.mwldan.co.uk
