The Hounds line up of multi-vocals, Guitars, Mandolins, Fiddles, keyboards, bass and drums gives a dynamic sound, which will give the audience the best of Folk Music Singer / Composer / Lyricist Perryn has a beautiful voice that is full of emotion and is so good for folk music, it has emotion, pathos and humour, which Hounds audiences love. She also plays acoustic guitar, mandolin, bazouki and is a mean Bodhran player. The use of Bodhran in conjunction with drums adds a real celtic dimension to the Hounds sound.

Multi-keyboard player Gaynor, is a total keyboard wizard, and is enormously experienced having been a session player and composer for TV, Film and Record Industry since she left Music College. .She plays the Ulyian Pipes, Flutes, Pianos, Orchestra, Horns, Harpsichord, Bagpipes, Accordians ---- the list goes on. She is surrounded by a bank of keyboards, and as a virtuoso performer- she REALLY knows how to play them as well as programming the drums. She also sings, and her hormonies with Perryn’s voice are very compelling.

Fiddle player Holly Robinson is well known on the folk circuit as a top class session musician, and plays 4 string, 5 string and Octave Fiddles. Her fiddle tunes are absolutely awe inspiring, and they bring together the absolute best of the bass, keyboards, drums and bodhran to give the audiences thrilling traditional folk tunes to a modern celtic beat.

Mike Forewood, the Hounds bass guru, plays both 4 string and 6 string basses, which he plays really sympathetically to enhance each song or tune, whether a beautiful fretless bass line is needed for a folk ballad, or a thumping rhythmical bass line for Holly’s Traditional tunes. Mike also sings, giving a lovely bottom end to the Hounds harmonies.

So if you want an evening of wonderful music, with top class arrangements, traditional songs, and want to be up on your feet dancing and singing along, the Hounds of the Sea will give you a fantastic evening to remember. They have the real WOW factor.
