‘DAVID Gilmour Live at Pompeii’ is an audio-visual spectacle, featuring lasers, pyrotechnics and specially-created films complementing an artist at the top of his artistic game, performing incredible material with his world-class band, in a unique setting.

The concert will be screening for one night only at Cardigan’s Theatr Mwldan on Wednesday, September 13 (8.15pm).

Forty-five years after Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour filmed ‘Live At Pompeii’ in the legendary Roman Amphitheatre there, he returned for two spectacular shows as part of his ‘Rattle That Lock’ album tour.

The performances were the first-ever rock concerts for an audience in the stone Roman amphitheatre, with the 2,600 strong crowd stood exactly where gladiators would have fought in the first century AD.

The show includes songs from throughout David’s career, as well as Pink Floyd classics, including One Of These Days, Wish You Were Here and Comfortably Numb.

Tickets to see Dave Gilmour are £10 (£9) and are available to book from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, online at www.mwldan.co.uk or via the new MWLDAN app.
