The Wanted have revealed that they have recorded tunes with Rita Ora, Dappy and LMFAO which could appear on their next album.

The boyband - consisting of Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes - are working on their third album, the follow-up to 2011's Battleground.

"We're working on our next album and it's going to be a worldwide album so everyone can see it. We've been working with Rita Ora, Dappy, LMFAO, loads of tracks, but we've all decided that if the track is good enough then it's on the album, not because of collaborations, because we're stubborn," Siva told BBC Newsbeat.

He added: "I think it's going to be another one of those mixed bags - anthemic, some high hitters, some slow songs - so something for everyone again."

Rita is "lovely", Siva recalled.

The 23-year-old singer said: "She's a lovely girl. I did a song with her. She wasn't big when I worked with her, she was just about on the cusp and now she's just exploded and it's nice to see good people doing well."
