Theatr Mwldan continues its traditional summer outdoor performances at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran in partnership with The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales beginning with George’s Marvellous Medicine on Sunday 31 August at 4pm.

Award-winning and Equity endorsed outdoor theatre company Illyria finish their summer series of events with a grand finale - Roald Dahl classic GEORGE’S MARVELLOUS MEDICINE. Previous years have seen the company work their magic on JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, FANTASTIC MR FOX and a record-breaking sellout season of THE TWITS, all at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran.

Full of (literally) larger-than-life characters, plenty to join in with and just a twist of malicious fun!

It’s guaranteed to send you through the roof!

It’s the first day of half-term, Grandma has written to say she is coming to stay, and George is going to have to give up his bedroom for her. It wouldn’t be so bad if Grandma were a nice Grandma. But George’s Grandma is horrible. “George do this!” “George do that!” “George is it time for my medicine?” What’s the point of taking medicine, George wonders, when it’s clearly not doing her any good, and it certainly isn’t making her any nicer?

So George decides to concoct his own medicine which he gives to Grandma on a spoon - with hilarious results!

The season of performances, are presented on a site with panoramic views of the Teifi Marshes, adjacent to the Wildlife Centre building which offers meals and refreshments in The Glasshouse Café, plus gift shop and toilets.
