BALLET Theatre UK bring an original and enchanting production of Alice in Wonderland to Cardigan’s Theatr Mwldan on May 11.
The production’s interpretation of this classic tale through ballet is befitting of the topsy-turvy world that Alice tumbles into, populated by leaping White Rabbits, Mad Hatters and grinning Cheshire Cats.
Taking parts from Lewis Carroll’s adored books Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass, we meet all of the classic characters from the Alice worlds including the Queen of Hearts, the inquisitive Caterpillar, and of course,Tweedledee and Tweedledum.
The show cleverly combines dance and theatre, dazzling costumes and eclectic music with charming and witty results. This production is suitable for all ages.
