BE transported to the world of the “silver screen” with a magical concert in aid of Prostate Cymru and Rotary Charitable Causes.

Organised by Pembroke Rotary Club in association with Folly Farm a special concert featuring the renowned Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra will take place at Folly Farm on March 24.

Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra was founded by its conductor Michael Bell MBE in 1982. The popular orchestra is recognised as one of Wales’ foremost non-professional orchestras. with a reputation for a wide-ranging repertoire from film music and light classics to major works. Principal violinist Jill Francis-Williams is the current leader of the orchestra.

The programme of the concert features many works by film composer John Williams including themes from 'Star Wars', 'Saving Private Ryan', 'The Cowboys', 'Jurassic Park' and 'ET'. The famous American composer, conductor and pianist has written the scores of over one hundred films in addition to television and Olympic themes.

To help run the concert Pembroke Rotary Club is seeking sponsorship. In previous years sponsorship has been obtained from a single sponsor but this year the club wishes to attract multiple sponsorships of £100 from local firms or individuals. who want to support this prestigious event. In return each sponsor will: Sponsors will receive two free tickets, and be included in a list of sponsors in the concert programme sold to the audience on the night. – a great opportunity to show your support or promote your business’ community spirit.

It will greatly assist in making the event a financial success if you are aware of local businesses/firms who would like to be a sponsor of the event and also can you please publicise the Concert by sending the attached “flyer” to contacts by email or via social media.
