DYNAMIX Performing Arts School is gearing up for its forthcoming production of 'Oliver!'

The shows at Cardigan’s Theatre Mwldan will take place on Saturday, July 14 at 7pm, Sunday, July 15 at 1.30pm and Monday, July 17 at 7pm.

The students have been working extremely hard to bring Charles Dickens' beloved novel to life, as Lionel Bart's Oliver! takes audiences on a wild adventure through Victorian England.

This show is the perfect opportunity to join young, orphaned Oliver Twist as he navigates the London underworld of theft and violence, searching for a home, a family, and - most importantly - for love.

When Oliver is picked up on the street by a boy named the Artful Dodger, he is welcomed into a gang of child pickpockets led by the conniving, but charismatic, Fagin.

When Oliver is falsely accused of a theft he didn't commit, he is rescued by a kind and wealthy gentleman, to the dismay of Fagin's violent sidekick, Bill Sykes.

Caught in the middle is the warm-hearted Nancy, who is trapped under Bill's thumb, but desperate to help Oliver, with tragic results. With spirited, timeless songs like 'As Long as He Needs Me',

'Food, Glorious Food', 'Where is Love' and the rousing favourite 'Consider Yourself', Oliver! is a musical classic and one not to be missed.

In these performances the role of Oliver is shared between Benjamin Davies and Aaron Makepeace, the role of The Artful Dodger is shared between Kayleigh Fischer and Severn Tamblyn and the role of Nancy is shared between Florence Gunn-Wilson and Liberty Yospa.

The role of Bill Sykes’ dog Bullseye is shared between the three winners of the Pup Idol competition - Butch, Scamp and Tess.

Tickets are £9.50 (£8) adults and £6 children. Tickets are available from Theatr Mwldan's box office on 01239 621200, online or via smart phone at www.mwldan.co.uk.
