WHAT lack of foresight to deny local people the opportunity of a decent shopping environment in the 21st century.
Obviously, once again, the footfall will go to Carmarthen and the local economy will suffer especially at Christmas.
Would not the Riverside have been an ideal location as a retail area? It is within the town centre and local shops would benefit, not a town of “two halves.”
This would have been far more attractive rather than the hideous, self-indulgent monstrosity of a council building. An enormous blot on the landscape!
“Self important” councillors take note. “A disaster dahling”!
