I APPLAUD Joyce Watson’s letter castigating Jamie Adams’ decision to reshuffle Councillor Huw George instead of dispensing with him altogether.

If we live in a demorcacy then surely our elected members should be accountable to the electorate.

Perhaps Huw George could learn from his own experience in his new post and not spend so much time in front of the Telegraph reporter’s camera, thus making more time for important activities?

However, it seems that Joyce Watson’s voice on the Hywel Dda debacle over the downgrading of Withybush has been unsurprisingly muted. Could it be that our ruling party, ie Welsh Labour Party, have gagged her and left us all ‘speechless’.

Yes, that is about it!

Apparently we have no voice and the consultation was all a charade.

The journey to Carmarthen for new babies could be detrimental to their health.

We all know how long it can take on the A40 which is unlikely to be upgraded.

Mothers of premature babies will have to leave their family commitments and stay in Carmarthen in order to breast-feed their babies for an unforeseen length of time.

It will be a very sad day for Pembrokeshire mums if the new proposals are accepted.

I look forward to being enlightened on either of the above issues.
