THE trustees, staff and members of the Pembrokeshire Cancer Support Charity would like to offer their sincere “congratulations” to Dr Anne Barnes of Ward 10, Withybush Hospital on receiving her MBE for services to cancer patients in Pembrokeshire.
We all feel that it is long overdue and an honour that is very much deserved for her dedication to the people of Pembrokeshire who have to go through the trials of Cancer.
Dr Barnes never fails to have time to explain, support, comfort and befriend her patients.
She is truly a ray of light for cancer patients.
Dr Barnes has helped many of the patients and carers who use our support centre and outreach services and she is held in very high esteem.
We hope she will be given more support to continue her vital work on Ward 10.
Thank you Dr Barnes and many many congratulations – Keep up the good work.
