AGAIN it’s to be hoped all those in Pembrokeshire thankful for Withybush Hospital’s services over the years, and all other folk here who may well have future needs (from cradle to the grave), are concerned enough that many of those services are threatened to be taken far away. If you aren’t booked on one of the many coaches going from all points around Pembrokeshire to the Senedd, Cardiff on Wednesday March 5, please contact Save Withybush Action Team ( SWAT ) on 01437 766215 and book seats now ! Coaches leave 8am for an 11am demo outside the Senedd and leave Cardiff at 4pm.
Despite Clause 118 being added to the Health Care Bill late last year after Lewisham saved their hospital from closure in a High Court battle with London Health Minister Jeremy Hunt, Lewisham encourages Pembrokeshire to fight on.
As Elaine Williams said last week (Letters, February 19) ‘take action now or explain to the grandkids why you did nothing...’ .
