CAN someone from Highways please explain why it is necessary to demolish the Churnworks Roundabout and replace it with a restricted access junction to be controlled by yet another set of traffic lights. This roundabout is one of the few places in Haverfordwest where the traffic flows freely.
If, indeed, it is vital that the “improvements” take place, could the work not be done out of season rather than throughout the summer?
I would have thought that in the present climate, Haverfordwest needs all the tourist trade it can possibly attract.
This will hardly help matters.
Or am I missing the point?
