AS an avid reader I use the Haverfordwest library on a regular basis. Pembrokeshire County Council is having to make many cuts in view of the local government budget reductions and one area it is looking at is the library network.
A consultation document is available from November 3 with a cut off date of Monday December 1, the purpose of which is to sound out residents’ views on proposals affecting Haverfordwest and all other libraries.
May I urge all users of Haverfordwest library, for book loans, for computer availability and for children’s books, to take the opportunity to give their views to the council.
Paper copies of the response form are available at all libraries and at Scolton Manor. It is vital that your views are known.
