WE have just returned to Cornwall after three weeks holiday near Broadhaven.
After having many holidays there over the last 20 years and visiting Solva many times, we found out last year that a long lost uncle, SAMUEL JAMES GEORGE, left Sennen,Cornwall in about 1900 and settled as a fisherman in Upper Solva, marrying Emma Lucas in 1904 and having three sons, George Lucas George, James Lucas George, Harry L. George.
Unfortunately Samuel died young in 1915.
We visited St Davids, Whitchurch where he is buried, but unfortunately the parish doesn’t seem to have the individual burial records of each grave. We also visited his son,George’s grave at Spittal where he died in 1965.
We wondered if any of your readers has any info about any living relatives that might be interested in family history.
