YOU reported in the speech by The Master of the Gild at their Annual Dinner that he stated that there had been 1,000 signatures protesting against parking charges on St Thomas Green.
He actually stated that the number was 9000 plus.
This makes it one of the biggest protests against a proposal by Pembrokeshire County Council.
Haverfordwest Town Council also protested against these proposals .
Incidentally I understand that in the last financial year the County Council received nearly £300,000 from parking revenue from the Haverfordwest car parks.
