Recently I downloaded the 306 Bus timetable from the Pembrokeshire County Council website with a view to catching the 306 from Withybush to the Horse and Jockey to collect my car from Steynton the following morning.
When I boarded the 0943 bus the driver said she had no change and neither did I (£10 note). She said I should have the right change and refused me entry onto the bus even though I had the money to pay for the journey.
Nowhere on the timetable does it state you should have the right change and nowhere does it show the fare tariff. If you expect people to have the right change then either it needs to be on the timetable or you need one touch/Apple pay with a credit/debit cardThis is the first ever bus in my life that has not had change and the total indifference and lack of empathy from the driver was disgraceful; and we wonder why some people don’t use public transport. I am furious and disgusted.
