ON Wednesday January 6 at 8.40 I was driving my son to college when I witnessed the most reckless driving I have ever seen in 30 years of being a professional driver.
I was overtaken on the new section of road to Tiers Cross, the driver then proceeded to speed and overtake on blind bends and rises all along the Old Hakin Road.
When we got to Haverfordwest he was only two cars in front of us and pulled into the college drop off point directly in front of us. Out got a young man, I suspect the driver may have been his brother, the driver was in his twenties with a beard and he was driving a black 04 plate Renault Megane.
It is pure luck that there wasn’t another innocent motorist coming around those bends.
I commented to my son that if he’s ever in a car being driven so dangerously that he is to tell the driver to stop and I’ll come and pick him up wherever he happens to be.
