LAST week my wife and I were walking on the beach at Druidstone, when we heard a loud creaking sound, and when we turned to look, we saw it was caused by a very large (90 tons, rough guess) slab of rock falling off the cliff.
There was an awesome crack when it hit the rocks beneath. Ten minutes later there was another smaller one. It was early afternoon, sunny and still.
