IN May Wales will change, for better or worse and it’s up to voters which it is.

To discuss how much better, I have arranged meetings across Pembrokeshire. I am a Plaid Cymru regional candidate and will bring ideas from our manifesto. All ideas welcome.

The danger is that we get distracted by big issues like Europe, migration, nuclear weapons or energy. But what the Welsh parties think of these makes no difference as they do not control them.

They do control health, education, social housing and care, planning, roads, public transport, who votes and how – democracy, plus having a major impact on the economy.

We are in danger of missing this terrifying and thrilling opportunity to transform Wales into a success story or consign it to sink deeper into failure on all fronts.

The best way to choose well is to have an empowered awake public, hence the meetings. They are in Narberth, Cardigan, Newport, Fishguard, Haverfordwest and St. Davids. The first is in Narberth – March 24, 4pm at the Angel Hotel.
