WHILE not wishing to comment on the individual circumstances of this lady’s letter and I would decry any public instance of insult I think Mrs Dean might reflect on the circumstances prevailing in the UK today where the vast majority of our people put uncontrolled immigration as their main concern.
There is a metropolitan “ elite” I believe who do not see or experience this.They perhaps do not remember that little more than 15 years ago the UK was a society that had many different cultures that lived in harmony and we lived a relaxed and friendly life.That is now being eroded by policies that do not seem to reflect the views of the majority of people of all cultures.To throw the “hate crime “ mantra around seems to me to simply add fuel to the fire.
