I READ with interest the letter from Mr Ken Newman in last weeks Western Telegraph.
He states that “Most holiday flats are let for part of the year” If this is the case, and the property is available for 20 weeks and actually let for 10 weeks, then Mr Newman need have no concerns as these owners should, and I trust are, paying business rates on the property and will not be subjected to the 50% increase in Council tax on second homes.
