I HAVE to thank Mr Bellan (Letters, Fevbruary 8) for his reassurance on Brexit.
I did not not have the advantage of having read the guidance of economist Mr Lyons.
I had foolishly based my concern on the opinions of the majority of MPs. Including the former and present Prime Minister and also the former President of United States.
I was also a little apprehensive of supporting a movement led by Mr Farage and Mr Johnson. But now that Mr Trump has thrown in his backing I guess my pessimism was unfounded. There is also the added bonus of not having to build a wall as we blessed with a natural “moat” to protect us.
I now feel more at ease (I think ?)
