Driving us all loco
WHAT dynamic, imaginative and courageous ministers we have with Chris Grayling, Transport Secretary, actually suggesting that to ease the overcrowding on some of the busiest commuter trains first class travel should be scrapped and… wait for it… to make more passengers stand!
Surely the sensible thing to do, and no doubt hundreds of thousands of others would agree, would be to scrap the HS2 project and plough the ‘billions of pounds’ saved into sorting out the whole of the UK rail network thereby helping millions of commuters – it is not rocket science – but maybe it is to the Transport Secretary?
