IT WAS interesting to note that on some local websites the Conservatives were actively recruiting existing Independent councillors to stand in their name at the forthcoming local elections.
This only goes to prove that any vote for the Tories will be a wasted vote if people are serious about having change in County Hall.
It should be clear to everyone that the Tories and Independents will do a nice cosy deal to go into coalition with each other and it will be business as usual with all the previous CEO pay-offs and dodgy grant dealings that have plagued Pembrokeshire over the years being continued.
We have recently seen evidence of this coalition when the previous Tory councillors voted with the Independents to raise cabinet members’ salary by a total of £30k, thus putting at risk the Duke of Edinburgh awards in the county.
Don’t let the Tories prop up Jamie Adams’ failed regime.
Vote ABC on May 4 – Anything But Conservative!
