APPROXIMATELY six weeks ago I had some blood tests taken at my Milford Haven GP surgery.
For over a month I have telephoned my surgery on numerous occasions only to be met with a recorded message and irritating music. On two occasions I remained on the phone for one hour before giving up in tears.
There does seem to be a shortage of GPs in my surgery but there is a definite shortage of receptionists.
Two or three extra employees would make a huge difference to the service our surgery is supposed to provide.
I have given up trying to obtain my blood test results because I am sick of listening to silly music and condescending recorded messages.
These messages are a form of abuse and more concern should be shown for the patients who provide the taxes which pay for the NHS to operate.
