DEAR EDITOR

I refer to the letter from Colin Rogers regarding local choirs being snubbed by South Hook LNG (Western Telegraph, June 17th).

My choir, like other local choirs, has been making money over the last 57 years for just about every charity in the county, and were amazed that being the nearest choir to South Hook, we were not invited to perform at their opening ceremony.

Perhaps it was because we do not charge for our services, or because we are not high profile enough, who knows!

I was instructed to write to LNG expressing our disgust and, after six weeks, I am still waiting for a reply!
