Regarding your letter last week from S. Crockett suggesting the 962 homes being built on the outskirts of Haverfordwest will be sold or rented to people claiming dole or benefits.
Well, they must be on a better income than my son who works damned hard for a living. He has a partner and two young sons and has no chance to get his foot on the property ladder and not for the want of trying.
He was too young to buy when the market was a free for all and greedy buyers bought up all the affordable housing in Haverfordwest. He now has to rent one of those properties from a private landlord at an exorbitant rent.
Yes, let’s have more homes built for working people and put these greedy landlords out to grass.
