I fully approve of the stance that the Western Telegraph is taking over the threatened status of our hospital at Withybush.
I would like to make a complaint, however, about the revolting state of the outside front of the hospital. The litter of cigarette ends which is becoming ever more dense as the months go on, is really quite disgusting. It resembles the front of a hospital in some third rate banana republic rather than that of our beloved Pembrokeshire.
There are garden suppliers which can provide machines for clearing up leaves in the autumn in the garden.
Could Hywel-Dda not invest in one of these to clear up the fag ends on a regular basis?
Perhaps it could even supply a large metal bin to try and encourage smokers to modify the effects of their anti-social behaviour.
