I felt I had to express my appreciation of the quality and upkeep of the roads in our county.
I travel for my work and was recently in Plymouth, Devon, which has very similar narrow country lanes to ours, though a million miles away in surface quality, hedge maintenance and littering.
Even the transition from Pembrokeshire into Carmarthenshire is notable by the almost total disappearance of cats eyes as you travel eastwards beyond Red Roses. These are a godsend on early misty mornings and winter days.
Keep up the good work Pembrokeshire County Council.
Paul Terry,
Llangwm.
