Dear Editor - How disgusting that the wishes of the demonstrators win again (Casting vote puts hunt off the town trail, Western Telegraph, October 13th).
There are more people that follow the hunt than against, and that the mayor had the casting vote and said “the hunt brings no real benefit to the town” – do the demonstrators then?
We as a family group all meet in Tudor Square for this event – about 18 in number. The younger ones follow the hunt and the oldies all meet up for lunch in Tudor Square with others, so the town will miss our money for a start. Now the tourist season is over I would have thought they would need it.
I do hope the hunt finds somewhere and gets a better reception than Tenby.
