Cooler heads spotted long ago that Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) was nothing more than a massive scam to extract more taxes from the masses. Indeed, this unscrupulous exercise was aided and abetted by many a climatologist and scientist (thankfully not all) to ensure their on-going funding. But it now seems chickens are coming home to roost - Al Gore et al must have choked over their cornflakes last week when the Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit revealed data showing the Earth has not warmed for the past 15 years; this data was based on 30,000 measuring stations around the planet. So I guess Al Gore will have to come up with another Inconvenient Truth such as Version Two, the Great Global Cooling.

No doubt readers will be warmed by their ever increasing energy bills knowing that the ‘subsidy’ pays for the growing number of wind generators across our beautiful land, to the extent that millions are paid to wind farm owners even when they are not producing energy such as during high winds. How Christopher Huhne can keep a straight face when he forcibly claims the planet needs wind technology to combat global warming and save the planet is beyond me - no doubt he could sell snow to an Eskimo!
