Dear Editor:- Getting the facts straight (Jan 25th). May I through your pages point out to Eric Howells that the pro-budget supporters have not buried their heads in the sand as he puts, but are very keen to see a vaccination process being carried out. After all there is a BTB vaccination available for badgers and this year there will be vaccinations for cattle also.

May I also point out that many reactors after slaughters are found not to have BTB at all.
