Is vehicle capping the answer?

10:33am Wednesday 29th February 2012

There is no such thing as out of town Taxi's, all taxi's are Licensed by Council, which means we can Apply our Trade anywhere any time in Pembrokeshire.

The comment made by Taxi Firms in last week's telegraph were laughable, We all know in the Trade that there is an Abundance of Taxi's.

This Problem needs to be Addressed along with other Major Items at the next Taxi Meeting.

Mr Helmet know's how Trade is, as he has been working for local Taxi Firms over the last fourteen month's.

He knew how difficult this trade has been, but yet he still started his own business. The Local Council seem to be Allowing more and more Vehicles to be Issued with Taxi Licenses, perhaps now the Council should discuss with Trade about Vehicle capping.

Trade in pembrokeshire is down by 40% due to current Economic Times, such as 2 Night Clubs closing in Haverfordwest, also Pub Trade in haverfordwest and Milford Haven.

With over 250 Licensed Drivers in Pembrokeshire we hope that at the next Trade Meeting every Driver will attend, not just the Dedicated few.

YOUR VOTE, YOUR SAY.

So lets stop Moaning, get the Pricing Right and Every body will be happy.
