Polling time has come again, time to select a suitable councilor for the ward.
Like me, I would hazard a guess that selection is somewhat difficult in these times of penny pinching and unrest.
One does, at times, wonder exactly what councilors do at meetings, and what difference it makes if they do not attend them.
I am certain that the majority do a perfectly respectful job, but there are a few that do not really have the community at heart.
Maybe I am a little cynical, but if the rest of the electorate has had little or no information delivered to the door, nor even seen sight nor sign of the candidates proposed then I would not be surprised if the turn out is very low this year.
I have penned a "tongue in cheek" rhyme, that I have attached, which I am certain will appeal to everyone (except those councillors mentioned above).
