Flags for the jubilee Oh dear, looks like Haverfordwest Town Council have missed the boat again. Whilst walking down the town today there were a few, very few, flags hanging from buildings, A few of the remaining shops have done their best with their decorative window displays but there are no flowers or bunting decorating the town square apart from that on the coffee shop, and certainly none across the high street or any other street come to that, You would think the Queen had died rather than be celebrating 60 years of reign. The Olympic torch came to town on Sunday but if it had not been for the host of people with their own flags the occassion would have been a very dull occurrence. The smaller towns and villages on the torch route had more flags flying than in the so called county town. Come on town council, wake up, get the town looking like a county town before all the celebrations go. Do it for the sake of the people who pay your wages if not for yourselves.
