Loved ones who are forgotten
11:39am Wednesday 27th June 2012 in Letters
Dear Editor:- City Road Cemetery - During my holidays, I pay a visit to Haverfordwest City Road Cemetery, and once again, what a disgrace, what an eyesore, and it is annoying to see the cemetery being neglected by the PCC/ Just standing at the entrance, at the start of the cemetery, the same graves to the right broken, sinking graves, headstones loose, loved ones who are forgotten. To the left you see wild dog daisy taking over broken graves, what happened to the caretakers (gardeners, is this another cut-back in Haverfordwest?).
For years I have counted the same graves and more each time to the right there is over 15 and to the left with daisies another 15, where are the families today? Don’t you care? They need to be resurfaced before an accident happens. Take a trip to the cemetery next weekend and see for yourselves.
