SOME time prior to 2002 when Yr Hen Ysgol, Dinas, was a place of education, some of the pupils made collages depicting history over the centuries and they are now a treasured community asset.
We have recently received a grant from PAVS ( P e m b r o k e s h i r e Association of Voluntary Services) and a generous donation from Newport Bridge Club towards a project to frame the eight collages.
To date we have been unable to ascertain when they were made, so if any former pupil who was involved in the making can contact Sheila La Croix at 01348 811414 with this information we would be pleased to hear from you.
Once the framing project is complete, former pupils of the old school will be most welcome to visit and see the lovely collages framed for posterity.
