Strong opposition to civic amenity site proposals

All councils have to meet recycling targets and I understand large grants are available for relocation, whether by voluntary or compulsory purchase of land.

On Devonshire Drive, a site large enough to meet all requirements already exists, which will not destroy anyone’s quality of life.

The traffic already using the site would not increase much more than present levels.

It is not too late to relocate to this site. I expect and demand support from all councillors to knock this crazy proposed site on the head immediately and let common sense prevail. You cannot put a price on quality of life, so relocate. It is not too late.
