Nuisance

I WONDER just how many of your readers are plagued with nuisance calls, every day? I seem to get at least four, and sometimes as many as eight; one call at 1.45am.

Where do they get my number, house details, email address and sometimes even my age? This age of electronic gadgetry appears to be the blame; ordering goods by telephone, ‘Cookies’ gathering information, accidental click on spam emails, ordering goods online, and social networking. They all say “Your privacy is protected”, but is it?

Companies do sell information, of this there is no doubt. Will someone please tell me how to prevent this plague of nonsense, and why the calls always appear to come in at very inconvenient times? I will certainly be more careful in what transactions I make in future.

Big Brother is watching you. So beware !
